Meet Handsome Bruno!

Bruno is a 4-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier with a big heart and a soft spot for snuggles. He may be a little shy when first meeting new people, but once he feels comfortable, he turns into the sweetest cuddlebug who just wants to be by your side.

This handsome boy loves running around the yard, going for walks, and playing with his toys — but his happiest moments are when he's with his favorite humans. His story is one of resilience: Bruno spent several weeks wandering in the woods before he was rescued, which may be why he values companionship so deeply.

Sadly, another year has passed, and Bruno just celebrated another birthday here at the shelter. While he's loved by staff and volunteers, what he really deserves is a family of his own to make his next birthday extra special — in a forever home.

Bruno will need a patient, understanding family to help him feel safe and loved. He can be nervous at times, but is doing much better in his new kennel and getting much more love and attention! Bruny is looking for a feline-free home and a calm environment, he gets zoomies and overexcited, not always realizing his strength. He gets very excited around other dogs but hasn't been formally tested with them yet, so a meet-and-greet will be required to make sure any potential canine siblings are the right match.

Bruno is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines — all he's missing is the right family to love him.
