Meet Bebe

Bebe is a 4-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier, and let's be honest — he's pretty hard to resist.

This handsome boy recently celebrated his 4th birthday with us. While we made sure he felt loved on his special day, our hearts hurt knowing he spent it in a shelter. Bebe has now been waiting 482 days for someone to give him a chance.

482 days.

482 days of watching other dogs leave.
482 days of wondering when it will be his turn.
482 days without a single person showing serious interest in him.

Bebe came to us after being surrendered because his previous owner felt he was "too much." But we think he simply hasn't found the right person yet.

Ladies, if you're looking for your next unattached situationship... Bebe might be your guy.

He's reserved when meeting new people and won't immediately throw himself into your lap. He likes to take his time, figure you out, and decide if you're worthy of joining his inner circle.

But once he finds his people?

He loves them with his whole heart.

The walls come down, the goofy side comes out, and Bebe becomes completely devoted. He forms deep bonds and is the kind of dog who would rather be by your side than anywhere else. His loyalty is unmatched, and the people he trusts become his entire world.

Bebe enjoys lounging outside, going for walks, and spending time with his favorite humans. He has previously lived with other dogs, but shelter life has made him a bit particular about canine companions. Because of that, we feel he would thrive as the center of someone's universe — as the one — and-only pet soaking up all the love and attention. Cats and kids have not been formally tested, but we would be happy to evaluate him for the right family.

We know Bebe isn't the dog who wins everyone over in the first five minutes.
