Meet Goliath.

MEET GOLIATH — 97 POUNDS OF PURE LOVE

Goliath may be a big boy, but someone forgot to tell him that 97-pound dogs are not technically lap dogs. He remains unconvinced.

Estimated to be around 2-3 years old, Goliath is a handsome Mastiff mix with a beautiful coat and an even more beautiful personality. He is incredibly friendly, loves everyone he meets, and would happily spend his days soaking up all the attention and affection you're willing to give him.

Goliath is housebroken and currently working on learning that walks don't require quite ALL 97 pounds of enthusiasm. He's learning to walk more gently on a leash and just needs someone willing to continue helping him polish those manners.

When it comes to his future home, Goliath can be dog selective, so any potential canine siblings would need to be a good match with a proper introduction. Cats are a no-go for this big guy, and we're recommending a home without small children — not because he doesn't love them, but because Goliath genuinely has no idea that he's 97 pounds and could easily knock a little one over with all that love.

• Friendly, affectionate & people-loving
• Housebroken
• Dog selective — proper introductions needed
• No cats
• No small children due to his size
• Working on gentle leash manners
• Scheduled to be neutered August 4

Goliath is a whole lot of dog with an even bigger heart. He doesn't always understand personal space — or his own size — but that's part of what makes this oversized lap dog so lovable.

He's ready for a home with enough room for 97 pounds of Goliath... preferably with a lap included.
