Meet Nala

Nala is a 6-year-old spayed female red nose pittie with the softest heart and the absolute best slobbery pibble kisses around. At 53 pounds, she fully believes she's a lap dog — and honestly? We don't have the heart to tell her otherwise.

Nala found her way to True Friends after her owner's life circumstances changed and she suddenly had nowhere safe to go. Despite everything she's been through, Nala still loves with her whole heart once she knows she's safe.

This sweet girl absolutely adores her people. She's a world-class snuggler, loves soaking up attention, walks well on a leash, and is mostly housebroken. She is also UTD on vaccines and microchipped — ready to start the next chapter of her life with a family of her own. She even did amazing at the vets!

Nala loves other dogs, but she can be a little overwhelming with her affection and enthusiasm. Boundaries? Not exactly her specialty. She would do best with a dog companion that matches her playful energy and doesn't mind constant kisses and overly loving manners.

We have not yet tested Nala with cats or children, but we would be happy to do so for the right home.

Nala didn't always have an easy life, and shelter life is not where this girl belongs. She deserves a soft place to land, people who will love her unconditionally, and the comfort of knowing she will never have to end up back in a kennel again.
