Meet Rocky.

Meet Rocky — The Underdog with a Heart of Gold

Rocky Balboa is a 4-year-old American Bully mix — compact, beefy, and overflowing with love to give. After surviving weeks on the run as a stray, he was finally caught by the dog warden, only to be surrendered by his adopters. He once had a home, and now he's waiting for his second chance.

At first, Rocky can be cautious with new people. But a few treats, a walk, and some patience unlock his true self — affectionate, loyal, and downright goofy. Once he trusts you, expect cuddles, zoomies, and kangaroo-like hops of happiness.

Rocky is hoping for a family who will keep building his confidence and continue his training. He does well with other dogs and would thrive with a canine companion (after a proper meet-and-greet). A fenced-in yard is perfect for this playful boy who loves to run, tug, and let loose.

He's a smart cookie, too — knows sit, stay, paw, down, and even waits politely at doorways and for food. While he's still a bit jumpy and mouthy, an active home with older kids would be the best fit.

Rocky is ready to give his whole heart — he just needs someone to give him the chance he deserves.
