Meet Leawood.

From Under a Church to a Brighter Future

Meet Topeka, Wichita, Lyndon, Leawood, and Abilene — five adorable kittens with a story that deserves a happy ending.

These sweet little ones came to us alongside their mama, Kansas, after they were found living beneath a local church. Thanks to the kindness of compassionate community members, this little family is now safe and getting the chance they never had before.

While we're still helping mama Kansas learn that people can be trusted, her babies are blossoming more each day. They're discovering that gentle hands mean love, toys are meant to be chased, and life doesn't have to be scary. Watching their personalities emerge has been nothing short of amazing. They're becoming playful, curious little adventurers who are ready to take on the world.

At just around 7 weeks old, these kittens are at the perfect age to begin the next chapter of their lives — with families of their own.

If you're looking to add a kitten to your home, consider bringing home a pair. Kittens grow up happier with a playmate to learn, explore, and cuddle with — and trust us, two kittens are always better than one!

Come meet this adorable Kansas crew and help give them the loving homes they've always deserved.
